This is the lovely girl that our good friends Arsenio Espinsa and his wife donated the funds to the charity for a state of the art kerb climbing electric wheelchair.
Elena's Mother called to say that Elena is making great progress at school as she has much more interest in life with her new found independence. She asked if we knew some one who could get her a second hand computer so Maria called her brother, Santos, in Bilbao who sent a new computer and keyboard and I gave her my previous monitor and speakers.
Stephen Baggaley (Hon director of the charity) and Maria went to Elena's house and Stephen installed the computer.
Since Maria first saw Elena in a market some months ago sitting in a push chair with her mother much has been achieved for Elena without costing the charity a euro, as this is in addition to the 90.000 euros Robert Winsor and David Eastall presented at Santa Ponsa Country Club.
