Necessities bought by the charity and in the UK for disadvantaged children since 1980 |

Organiser:- Robert Winsor e-mail:- penguino@spain.cc
Mob:- 629 85 86 47
The object of this Charity is to raise money to buy
sunshine coaches, electric wheelchairs and necessities for handicapped and underprivileged children.
ALL donations should be made payable to Association Charity Golf,
BBVA - Magaluf 07182 - Acc No -
0182-1158-72-0201516284
Robert Winsor organised his first charity golf event in 1980, this will be his 14th charity golf tournament - 8 in the U.K. and this will be his 6th in Mallorca. Robert hopes to raise over 50,000 euros this year which will bring his total to over 1 million euros. In 2002 Robert was made a honorary life member of Royal Bendinat Golf Club for his work for handicapped and underprivileged children in Mallorca.
Listed below are the tournament sponsors who have made extremely generous donations.
It gives us pride and pleasure to be the sponsors of a new Robert Winsor Charity Golf tournament. In part because this contributes to the promotion of the island as an ideal tourist destination for golf but more importantly as a call for solidarity. The organisers of this competition, which has taken place during the last six years, have contributed with their work to a considerable increase in the quality of life of the handicapped children and their families. More money is collected each year and it is all invested in the purchase of wheelchairs, minibuses adapted to their needs and other equipment which changes the lives of these children completely. For this reason IBATUR wants to show our support for a cause in which we believe and we want to help to make this event a success and congratulate those who make this tournament possible. One of our aims is to promote golf as an option for tourists. If the privilege of playing on a course such as Real Golf de Bendinat in a climate such as we have in Mallorca we join with the importance of being able to help these handicapped children, the success of the Robert Winsor Charity Golf is guaranteed. Juan Carlos
Alia I am so delighted to have such an important Spanish institution as
IBATUR as main sponsor for my Charity Golf event this year, on behalf of the charity and the underprivileged children of Mallorca, may I thank you most kindly for your tremendous support. |
