Paula
Randell, Sony recording artiste,
actress and internationally acclaimed Tina
Turner and Cher vocal
visual impressionist. Paula is “the
only” impressionist

Turner to
Cher
and back to Tina,
in
one complete show, in the world! Up to as many as 10 total costume changes in a
performance.
Paula’s
most recent high profile appearance, in 2004, was an 8 week engagement starring
in her own ‘one woman’ show “ladies
of rock 2” at
the famous “Riviera
Hotel and Casino” Las
Vegas. Performing as
Tina Turner,
Cher
and herself.
2001/2/3 she appeared in her very own cabaret room in Palm Springs,
California, where, in
2003, Cher’s mother, Georgia Holt attended
one of Paula’s performances.
Georgia was enthralled (see snapshots taken in showroom) with Paula’s show and
could not believe her amazing ‘lightning’ transformation from Tina to her
daughter Cher! Georgia quoted Paula as “the
best Cher impersonator I’ve ever seen except for my daughter, and i’ve seen
a lot!”, “when I closed my eyes I thought my daughter was singing to
me!”, also quote: “you do my daughter so well!”. “your costumes are
fantastic!”. These
quotes are a wonderful accolade to Paula.
During
her engagement in Palm Springs, her show was critiqued by, Dr. Hal Bargelt of
the ‘Bottom Line’ magazine who
quoted in an extensive article revue that,
“Paula
is so good she could be a ‘stand-in’ for Cher if she were taken ill. It would be difficult to tell Paula from the
star herself!“
Signed
to Sony records Scandinavia, with several single releases to her credit, singing
as ’herself’. Paula toured Scandinavia in concert with Scatman
John and
Wigfield
to
crowds in excess of 25,000 promoting her 1st club re-mix of the ‘Foreigner’

House’, which she co-wrote. Both
these singles went onto compilations ’Dockside Dance Party Vol 1 and 2’
respectively featuring artistes such as Luther
Vandross, 2 Unlimited, Black Box and Livin’joy. “I
Wanna Know What Love Is” also featured on the ’Pepsi Cola’ compact dance
release of over 65,000 copies.

1999 and 2000 Paula also headlined as Tina and Cher, for ’Mermaid Pride’ and

has clocked up as many as 18/20 tours of Scandinavia with her ladies of rock
show and was dubbed
Britain's

Cola ’Sprite’ at

in Nyhaven, Copenhagen, their national celebration for the arrival of summer.
Also,
a featured actress in the ‘Xmas special film’ of the long running comedy
show ‘Last
of the Summer Wine’. (this
cameo performance highlights Paula’s ability as an actress and singer to be
able to, intentionally sing ’out of tune’ to an ’out of tune piano, with a
rendition of Shirley Bassey’s ‘Big Spender’!)

has travelled extensively throughout her career including the
USA, Australia, India and
